TwoPoints.Net presenta su tercera edición del Posgrado de Tipografía Aplicada en ELISAVA. Los autores de la serie “I love Type” de la editorial Victionary (con volúmenes sobre Futura, Avant Garde, Bodoni y Din; y Gill Sans y Franklin Gothic en preparación) y coautores del nuevo libro “Type Navigator” de Gestalten con Jan Middendorp, contarán en este año, gracias a un acuerdo con la Muthesius Kunsthochschule de Kiel, con Mr. DIN (Albert-Jan Pool) como profesor. El posgrado recoge la tradición tipográfica suizo-alemana y hace una aproximación al diseño de letras de la “escuela de La Haya” de la mano del diseñador holandés de tipos Donald Roos (vetteletters.nl), junto con nombres relevantes del panorama tipográfico y editorial local: Alex Trochut, Albert Folch, Omar Sosa y Laura Meseguer, entre otros. Por último, incluye una nueva edición del workshop-exposición “Building Type” donde los alumnos trabajarán la tipografía como objeto sin perder de vista su función comunicativa. Los resultados del taller de este año pueden verse hasta el 15 de septiembre en el escaparate de la conocida Servei Estació o en Behance.

Postgraduate Degree in Applied Typography third edition TwoPoints.Net presents its third edition of  Postgraduate Degree in Applied Typography in ELISAVA. The authors of the series “I love Type” from Victionary publishers (with volumes about Futura, Avant Garde, Bodoni and Din, and Franklin Gothic and Gill Sans forthcoming) and co-authors of the new book “Type Navigator” (Gestalten) with Jan Middendorp, will count on Mr. DIN (Albert-Jan Pool) as a teacher this year, thanks to an agreement with the Muthesius Kunsthochschule of Kiel.The postgraduate course covers the Swiss-Dutch-German typographic tradition and makes a type design approach to the “School of The Hague” thanks to  Dutch type designer Donald Roos (vetteletters.nl), as well as relevant local figures within the editorial and typographic landscape: Alex Trochut, Albert Folch, Omar Sosa and Laura Meseguer. Finally, it includes a new edition of the workshop-exhibition “Building Type” where students will work typography as an object without losing its communicative function. This year’s workshop results can be seen until September 15 in the window of the famous Servei Estació or in Behance.
