Helvetica. ¿Una nueva tipografía?

La muestra Helvetica. ¿Una nueva tipografía?, organizada y producida por el DHUB con la colaboración de la Fundació Comunicació Gràfica (FGC), amplía el período de apertura hasta el próximo 7 de marzo. Se trata de una exposición que rinde homenaje a este tipo de letra, creada en 1957 por Max Miedinger, y cuya evolución explica gran parte del diseño del siglo XX.  Para evaluar su impacto, la muestra se organiza en dos espacio diferenciados: una selección de trabajos en los que la Helvetica participa como eje formal y conceptual (a partir de trabajos de diseñadores como Satué, Giralt Miracle, Eskenazi, Pablo Martín o David Ruiz) y una investigación histórica de todas las circunstancias que contribuyeron a su aparición.

Helvetica. A new typography?

The exhibition Helvetica. A new typography?, organized and produced by the DHUB in collaboration with the Fundació Comunicació Gràfica (FGC), extends its opening period until the next March 7th. This is an exhibition that pays tribute to this typeface created in 1957 by Max Miedinger, with an evolution that explains much of the twentieth century design. To evaluate its impact, the sample is divided into two different spaces: a selection of works where Helvetica participates as formal and conceptual axis (from works of designers like Satué, Giralt Miracle, Eskenazi, Paul Martin and David Ruiz) and a historical research of all the circumstances that contributed to its emergence.

The exhibition can be seen in the Espai 0 / DHUB Montcada (Montcada, 12), and the admission is free.
