Walk with me publica la nueva colección de guías ilustradas de Barcelona

Walk with me (editorial y estudio especializado en el desarrollo de mapas y guías no convencionales) acaba de publicar su nueva colección de guías ilustradas de los barrios de Barcelona en la que abordan de forma rigurosa y en profundidad la historia y las principales atracciones de la ciudad, y también su cara menos conocida y masificada, la que no aparece en ninguna otra publicación. De la mano de las ilustraciones de Andrés Lozano y Tatiana Boyko, y la prosa fresca, sensible y desenfadada de Isa Roldán, las publicaciones buscan alejarse de las convenciones de las guías turísticas clásicas y de los libros de viajes estrictamente funcionales. El diseño, obra de Julià Roig, presenta dos familias tipográficas: una sans, la Larsseit (Type Dynamics) , y una serif, la Acta (DS Type).

Walk with me (publishing house and studio specialized in the creation of unconventional maps and guidebooks) has just launched its new collection of illustrated guidebooks of the neighborhoods from Barcelona, where, in a rigorous and comprehensive way, it presents the history and the main attractions of the city, and also its less known or crowded side, the one that doesn’t appear in any other publication. Through the illustrations by Andrés Lozano and Tatiana Boyko, and the fresh, sensitive and casual words by Isa Roldán, the project tries to move away from the conventions of the typical touristic guidebooks and strictly functional travel books. The design, developed by Julià Roig, uses two typefaces: a serif (Acta, by DS Type) and a contemporary sans-serif (Larsseit, by Type Dynamics).
